ASSESSMENT

All clients receive a functional behavior assessment with a Lead Analyst, which consists of interviews and questionnaires completed with caregivers to identify areas of concern, observation in the natural environment, data collection of observations, direct assessment of skills and potential barriers to treatment, and may include the experimental manipulation and analysis of independent and dependent variables (known as a Functional Behavior Analysis).

INTERVENTION

All clients receive between 6-40 hours of direct care per week. Direct care hours will be determined by the Lead Analyst. All clients begin with sessions ranging from 2-4 hours to acclimate to receiving services so that rapport, pairing, and instructional control can be established. This means the first week of services will range from 6-20 hours of direct care services. The Lead Analyst will determine the rate at which to introduce and shape greater session durations.

SUPPORT

All caregivers receive a minimum of 4-12 hours of foundational training prior to beginning direct care services. Training consists of learning the functions (the why’s) of behavior, differential reinforcement, and functional communication training. Additional training topics will be determined by the Lead Analyst. Ongoing caregiver support sessions are determined between the family and Lead Analyst for an additional 1-4 hours training per month.
